Moms for Liberty is seeking a Director of Marketing. This is a senior-level position that leads and oversees all of the company's marketing efforts from creative to operations. This includes developing year-long strategic plans, creating and executing campaigns, managing budgets, and leading projects and staff.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership team to uncover insights for developing marketing and branding strategies for our organization. Position and promote Moms for Liberty by executing marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Spearhead the execution of marketing campaigns, including test and control group segmentation, testing, tracking, results reporting, analyses, and recommendations.
- Monitor progress and submit performance reports of campaigns.
- Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategy, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive organizational interest.
- Assist chapter leaders, Moms for Liberty ambassadors, and event planners with conventions, conferences, and trade shows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and provide post-event reports and analysis.
- Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the organization’s activities.
- Oversee and grow the department and provide guidance and feedback to marketing team.
- Plan and execute campaigns for national promotion, launching of new merch, chapter leadership recruitment and membership drives.
- Responsible for producing valuable content for the company’s online presence, editorial design and organizing the company’s publications.
- Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing movements.
- Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and trends, and translate results into actionable insights for marketing plan.
- Control budgets and allocate resources amongst projects.
- Ensure all graphics, documents, videos and materials are aligned with Moms for Liberty Brand and Style Guide.
- Provide strategic guidance for staff on brand alignment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Communicate effectively and work well under pressure.
- Successful track record in senior marketing role and campaign creation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
- Proven ability to plan and manage budgets.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications.
- Proficiency with content management systems and design software.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Analytical and creative thinking are essential.
- Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices.
