On March 18th, we take that mission to the federal government and will ask our members of Congress to sign our AI Safety in Education Pledge and our Parental Rights pledge.\r\nWhat is the Parental Rights pledge? It's simple: "I pledge to honor the fundamental rights of parents, including, but not limited to, the right to direct the education, medical care, and moral upbringing of their children. I pledge to advance policies that strengthen parental involvement and decision-making, increase transparency, defend against government overreach, and secure parental rights at all levels of government."\r\nIdeal Attendees:\r\n\r\nLiberty-minded parental rights advocates and their families\r\nThose who want to understand more about the educational advocacy\r\nCommunity outreach leaders\r\nMoms for Liberty Chapter members and leaders\r\n\r\nRegistration is FREE for Moms for Liberty members and $50 for non-members. \r\nNot a member yet? Washington, D.C. 20002-4999\r\n\r\nAdditional Event Information:\r\nIn advance of M4L Capitol Hill Day, attendees will contact their members of Congress to request meetings to introduce their representatives to Moms for Liberty and ultimately encourage them to sign our Parental Rights Pledge. \r\nMarch 18th will begin with breakfast and registration,  followed by distributing materials and an advocacy overview for the day. We'll group attendees into teams to travel the halls of Capitol Hill for prescheduled meetings and pop-ins with congressional members where meetings couldn't be scheduled. \r\nAll attendees are expected to wear Moms for Liberty apparel, ideally a Moms for Liberty t-shirt. \r\nBusiness attire while wearing M4L apparel is also expected. Such as a M4L t-shirt with a blazer. Comfortable shoes are encouraged. Clean sneakers are OK. No M4L merchandise will be for sale at this event.
