April Chapter Meeting

We are excited to welcome State Representative Gino Bluso as our speaker at the April chapter meeting.

The voters of District 61 elected Gino to the 113th General Assembly on November 8, 2022.  District 61 is comprised principally of the City of Brentwood and the City of Franklin north of Highway 96.  He serves in the General Assembly as a member of the Government Operations, Civil Justice, and Education Administration committees. Several bills Gino introduced in the 113th General Assembly have already been signed into law by Governor Lee.

Gino and his wife, Kathy, have lived in Brentwood for the past 28 years and raised all five of their children there. They now entertain their seven grandchildren there on the weekends.

He received his undergraduate degree from Cornell College in 1983, majoring in history and philosophy. He is a 1986 graduate of Emory University Law School.

Gino has been a trial lawyer in Nashville and in Williamson County for the past 36 years. He has tried more than 125 cases to verdict in state and federal courts in Tennessee and across the country.

The Supreme Court of Tennessee appointed Gino to serve as the chairman of its Advisory Commission on the Rules of Practice and Procedure in 2020. In that role, Gino has helped to modernize the court system in Tennessee to make the civil justice system accessible to all Tennesseans.
