PARENT WORKSHOP

Are you concerned about what is being taught to your children, what books and instructional materials they have access to, or why you are unable to get the resources you need for your child?

Every parent wants their child to be academically successful, but how do you advocate effectively for your children if you become aware of problems in their schools?

We are Moms, Dads, Grandparents and concerned community members who have experience with advocating for our own children and want to share with you how to be effective in

  • accessing key information from your school district through the Open Records Request process
  • opting your child out of books and curriculua that do not align with your values
  • filing a formal complaint/grievance

Join us for this 1-hour introductory workshop.  There is no cost for the event, and you can bring your children.
