What’s special about the M4L Winning Workshop Training?
First-time candidates, local office candidates and down-ballot candidates (like school board) are all told by political parties and the consultant class that to run they need a “machine” to be successful; they need money, media & mouthpieces to splash the entire eligible voter base in hopes of getting enough votes to win through a deluge of outreach.
The “machine playbook” is certainly considered the conventional way to run and win. This is the playbook virtually all other candidate trainings teach. And it works when a candidate has the required resources. However, when a candidate does not have the money, media & mouthpieces, but attempts to run the machine playbook, they will lose. Often, citizens become intimidated and even self-select out of running because they don’t have the resources necessary
Candidates who don’t have the machine resources can run and win (and do!) but must utilize a different playbook altogether:
Winning without the machine is a data-driven, highly targeted approach to turning out the number of votes needed to win a given race in a given year.

We will work with you to identify your Number Your Need to Win!
The Kit contains:
A Candidate Handbook- covers campaign cycles, your campaign team, knowing your numbers, getting out the vote, fundraising, voter contact, messaging, and more!
A Campaign Workbook- Facilitates setting fundraising, canvassing, and vote goals. Crafting budgets, platforms, and talking points. As well as tracking volunteers, timelines, and more!
A Collateral Collection- templates to create campaign logos, yard signs, palm cards, mailers, postcards, and more!
Logistics:
Light breakfast food and beverages will be provided.
Suggested attire is "casual". Moms for Liberty gear is welcome, but not required!
