Wake County Representative Promotes Image Depicting Beahding
Over the weekend, Representative Julie Von Haefen, shared photos on her social channels from the “No Kings” protests in Raleigh. Among them was an image depicting the beheading of President Trump. (Read more HERE)

No elected official should ever promote or condone imagery inciting violence - yet, Rep. Von Haefen chose to do exactly that. Disturbingly, Rep. Von Haefen posted this AFTER the horrific murder of Minnesota Rep. Hortman and her husband. This display of poor judgement and disrespect for basic decency demonstrates she is unfit to serve in the NC House of Representatives.
Rep. Von Haefen currently sits on several key committees including the K-12 Education Committee and the Ethics Committee. We urge you to contact Speaker Hall and your NC House representatives to voice your concerns - and to call for her removal from committee assignments and her resignation from office.

Please Contact Speaker Destin Hall (919-733-3451 or [email protected] ) regarding this. Also contact your House Representatives in Wake County.
