Next, we held our 2026 Parental Rights Symposium featuring speakers and panelists with a range of perspectives to help us better understand, appreciate, and advocate for a parents right to direct the upbringing of their children, even in the age of AI.
During the Symposium we explored not only the history and importance of parental rights in America, but also why those rights have increasingly become a target in our culture today. The answers were at times surprising and enlightening, as our various experts helped connect the dots between the challenges families are facing and the broader forces shaping our society.

After the sessions, the audience was able to ask questions and unpack what to do in an age dominated by screens, technology, and artificial intelligence.
One of featured speakers, Dr. James Lindsay, spoke about why such a seemingly unifying concept like parental rights is under attack. View his speech below or CLICK HERE

USS Midway Gala: A Night to Remember
|
We concluded our time in California with our final Sea to Shining Sea gala aboard the USS Midway on the 82nd anniversary of D-Day!
From Marissa’s warm welcome to Glenn Beck’s powerful closing remarks, we were encouraged and reminded of the importance of preserving Liberty for the next generation.
We struggled to hold back tears as Sage honored her father, Col. Gary Steele, and were inspired as they both shared their powerful stories.
We were so proud of the Moms for Liberty chapter chairs who shared their stories of courage and impact. They reminded everyone how ordinary citizens are standing up to anti-American ideologies seeking to influence our schools, culture, and children, and winning!
Thank you to our fan favorite, Mary Millben, for her beautiful voice which was accompanied by an explosive fireworks display!
And of course, a massive thank you to all of the donors who gave generously at this event to help us make certain that Liberty is preserved in this generation, and passed on to the next.

CBS Chaos Raises Bigger Questions About Legacy Media
|
Recent reports surrounding CBS and journalist Scott Pelley have renewed criticism of how legacy media covers parental rights organizations like Moms for Liberty.
Many members will remember the controversial "60 Minutes" segment on Moms for Liberty, which we believe selectively edited interviews and failed to provide full context around our views on school library content and parental rights.
The issue extends beyond a single interview. Across the country, families increasingly feel that major media outlets are shaping public debates through selective storytelling rather than presenting all sides fairly. When full context is missing, trust erodes, and families seek information from sources that better reflect their experiences and values.
