WCPSS Board Meeting

There are MANY ISSUES in WCPSS; here are just a few. Investiagate your child's curriculum.  Find out the books and poetry they will be exposed to.  You have a right to know.

  • WCPSS failing to teach kids to read (about 4 in 10 kids are not proficient)
  • WCPSS failing to teach kids math (6 in 10 kids are not proficient in Math 1)
  • WCPSS glossing over history and science leaving kids with incomplete and slanted exposure
  • WCPSS allowing obscene and vulgar materials in the classroom and school libraries
  • WCPSS allowing boys in girls private spaces

Pictured here is a 7th grade ELA teacher in Wake County schools. This is an urgent ongoing issue. Read more <HERE>.

Do you know what teachers are discussing with your children? Do your children feel safe? Do they feel pressured to say and do things they do not want to do? What have you observed? What have your children endured? Email us at [email protected].

WCPSS School Board Elections

Our LOCAL Candidates NEED our help!

Canvassing, calling, putting out signs, donations - this is what makes a local candidate successful. Also, all candidates need help with volunteers at the polls as early voting begins this week. There are over 20 early voting locations, so many hands are needed.  Visit their websites to volunteer.

Did you know you can look up your ballot? Go to https://vt.ncsbe.gov/RegLkup/ . Type in your LEGAL First and Last Name. Select your county of residence. Click on SEARCH.

On the list that comes up, click on your name and this will open your record. You should see your name and address in the top left corner. Scroll down to the bar labeled YOUR SAMPLE BALLOT. You will see a sample ballot number. Click on the hyperlink to open your ballot.

Early voting begins this Thursday, October 17 and ends November 2.  To find a location and hours of operation, click <HERE>. Many local candidates need help staffing these locations.  Can you volunteer a few hours?
