🚨 Rhode Island students are at risk.

“Currently, some school employees with serious misconduct can quietly move between districts. House Bill H7356 closes this loophole by requiring full background and employment history checks — making sure no red flags slip through.
Some schools engage in a practice labeled "passing the trash" by critics and legislators: quietly allowing or encouraging employees accused of sexual misconduct to resign instead of facing investigation or legal action, often with incentives like payouts or neutral references.

πŸ“£Please help the Girls of New England Youth Cycling (NEYC) enjoy fun and fair mountain bike racing.πŸ“£

Two years ago, the Board of Directors of NEYC implemented a transgender policy (Chapter 9.6, page 31 in the NEYC League Rule Book, www.neyouthcycling.com) allowing boys to race against the girls, take away spots on the girls' podium, and be awarded top 5 medals from them at the 6 races that occur at the end of the season.

NEYC also allows league-registered boys and ADULT MALE coaches who identify as girls/women to participate in the yearly "Girls of the League" day, where the girls enjoy a day of learning special skills and riding activities, specifically designed for them, in hopes that it'll make mountain biking more enjoyable and boost female participation in the predominantly male-dominated sport.
Female riders and parents were never included in this decision; it was covertly listed under the inclusion section of the guidelines for NEYC, suggesting and forcing the belief that "inclusion" outweighs female riders' self-esteem, hard work, fair competition, and fundamental biology/reality.

You can help these girls, who just want to ride bikes and have fair competition with each other, by sending an email to the Executive Director of NEYC at [email protected]. Please be respectful in your emails; any vulgar or threatening language does not help the cause.

Current BOD of NEYC:
Jonathan E. Goff, President
Victoria R. Schow, Vice-President
Tiffany M. Bonk
Carol A. Devellian
Travis G. Haas, Clerk
Timothy D. Holmes
D. Paul Koch, Jr., Treasurer

I appreciate your attention and swift action via email and in-person support.
