Sea to Shining Sea Fundraise Event was a huge success!

Last weekend’s Sea to Shining Sea celebration at Ellis Island was a powerful tribute to America’s upcoming 250th birthday and the five-year anniversary of Moms for Liberty.

Hosted with Glenn Beck, the evening highlighted patriotism, faith, and hope, honoring the nation’s founding principles and the role of everyday Americans in preserving Liberty.

From heartfelt moments to patriotic celebration, Sea to Shining Sea was more than an event. It was a reminder of where we’ve been, what we stand for, and the responsibility we share moving forward. It was, without a doubt, a night to remember. A night rooted in patriotism, faith, and hope for America’s next chapter.

Also congratulations to Charles Frazier District 1 and Ashley Sartelle District 4. We supported them, but they have not yet gone through the endorsement process.

May School Board Meeting

The May School Board meeting is behind held tonight. I was unable to make it due to an unforseen circumstance.
One of the items on the agenda was asking the school board to allow KCS to ask the state for a waiver of an ELA curriculum for 9-12. The current curriculum has been phased out and is no longer supported. The curriculum they are applying for is called SOAR from McGraw Hill. It is fully embedded with AI. Currently the school system's policy on AI is not going to guard students and teachers from the risks of using AI in this program. I emailed all of the board member to express my concern and reiterate a stronger AI policy be put into place.

TN to Require Teaching History of Communism

House Bill 1805 / Senate Bill 1890 passed both houses and was signed by Governor Lee.

This legislation requires Tennessee public schools provide age- and grade-appropriate instruction on the history, dangers, and atrocities of communism. Directs the Department of Education (DOE) to develop guidance to help LEAs and public charter schools deliver the required instruction, and authorizes the Department to seek input from victims of communism or state- or nationally recognized organizations dedicated to victims of communism. Effective immediately upon becoming law for purposes of developing guidance. Otherwise takes effect July 1, 2026, beginning with the 2026-2027 school year and each school year thereafter.

SPLC Indicted

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) was recently indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of wire fraud, making false statements to a federally insured bank, and conspiracy to commit concealment money laundering.

SPLC, once a respected civil rights organization, morphed into a politically partisan, fundraising-driven organization smearing and targeting mainstream organizations with whom they disagreed.

SPLC targeted individuals and organizations by designating them as "hate groups" and adding them to the "hate map" on the SPLC website. Moms for Liberty was targeted using labels including far-right/hard-right, extremist, and White supremacy.

Other targeted groups and individuals include:

Moms for America
Prager U
Alliance Defending Freedom
Family Research Council
Lieutenant General William G. ‘Jerry’ Boykin (Ret.)
David Barton/WallBuilders

We Can't Do This Without You!

As a volunteer organization, we work hard to inform the community of important issues and trends in our schools. It is more than a full-time job gathering, reading and researching information; keeping up with emails; meeting with federal, state and local representatives; creating and sending email newsletters; attending meetings in Williamson County and at the Capitol in Nashville, and so much more. The tasks are endless but unfortunately, the funds are not. So, we are asking for donations to help us continue this mission. The website needs a substantial and costly update to continue providing resources. Costs associated with the tech for emails and newsletters have risen substantially.

Please MAKE A DONATION using the link below to help us continue our mission:
