October Supporter Updates
Dear Joyful Supporter,
With less than a month until Election Day, I want you to know that Moms for Liberty is standing firm in our advocacy for truth and liberty.
We're working until the last minute to register voters in crucial swing states, grow our membership nationwide, and educate as many Americans as possible about the issues impacting our families the most - from the schoolhouse to the White House!
In fact,100,000 people have signed up for Moms for Liberty email updates in the last two months. And in 2024 alone, we've launched 50 new chapters. Parents have had ENOUGH and are ready to learn how to take action like never before.
I'm also thankful for your continued financial support. Your enthusiasm for our mission is critical in helping us continue to grow. Because you're a joyful supporter, I'm thrilled to share a few updates with you!
Moms in Motion
September 17th is Constitution Day. Did you know that every school receiving federal funding is required to hold an educational program on the Constitution on the 17th of each year (or in the preceding or following week if the date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday),
Moms for Liberty members delivered over 200,000 pocket constitutions to American schoolchildren this year. The 917 Society donated the constitutions, but M4L joyful warriors made the delivery to schools possible!
On September 30th, the New Jersey Senate Education Committee heard testimony on S2421, the disingenuous "Freedom to Read Act." If voted into law, the bill would grant librarians and school staff civil and criminal immunity to the NJ obscenities statute for minors. This isn't about freedom to read; it's about protecting adults who don't understand that graphic sexual acts and images aren't appropriate to share with our children!
Moms for Liberty Chapter Chair Kristen Cobo and M4L 2024 Mary Katherine Goddard Award recipient testified against the bill. And she didn't show up empty-handed. Go Kristen Go!
Title IX Lawsuit Update
The number of schools and students protected by our preliminary injunction halting the Biden Administration's Title IX changes continues to grow! As of the end of August, approx. 6,000 schools are listed on the injunction. Is your child's public school listed? If not, contact your local M4L chapter to learn how to potentially add it!
Moms in the Media
M4L Co-founder Tiffany Justice recently joined The Free Press' Swing State Debates. In the episode, the group discusses issues plaguing public schools and several socially charged issues like DEI, CRT, and age-inappropriate materials. I hope you'll take a listen!
