Hello, Joyful Warriors! This Mother's Day, take a moment to think about a virtue or strength your Mother or Grandmother instilled in you. Perhaps it is courage, tenacity, kindness, compassion, or grit. My paternal grandmother valued family gatherings, and she was a prayer warrior. She once told me that she prayed without ceasing for my sister and me when our parents divorced. I believe her prayers were instrumental in my spiritual salvation and discipleship in a Bible believing church in Houston, TX. I want to be a prayer warrior like my Grandmother, praying over my children and grandchildren often, seeing them develop a faith in Christ, and growing in virtue.
