Hello [firstname],

Welcome to the first Moms for Liberty newsletter of 2026!!!  We have a lot going on this year, with elections coming up. We have several school board seats up for election this year and am currently working on endorsments. So far, two candidates have submitted their questionnaire, Steve Triplett from District 7 (Halls/Powell) and Bill Sowell from District 9 (South Knoxville). Their next step will be the interview process which will occur soon.

Starting February 12th, we will begin having regular meetings again. They will be at the same location as previously, 9724 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37922 beginning at 7pm, doors open at 6:30. Please come for fellowship, information, education, and calls to action. Find out what YOU can do to protect our parental rights and protect our children.

Recap 2025

Much has happened over this past year. In March 2025, I was able to attend Patriot Academy in Comfort, TX, to learn the legislative process and more of our constitution.

Here I am with Rick Green, who is the founder of Patriot Academy and comedian Brad Stine.

In May 2025, our chapter chair, Sheri Super, stepped down to the Vice Chair position and I stepped in to the chapter chair position. 2 months later, she announced she would be running for Knox County Commission District 3.

I ask everyone to help her out in her campaign, as we need solid commissioners on our county commission that will protect parental rights and children.

In October 2025, I was blessed to attend the 4th annual Moms For Liberty National Summit.

It was an amazing time, and I came back energized, with tons of plans in my head on where we move to from here. We do have much work to do, as our public schools are not yet safe for our children, our parental rights are not fully protected. I ask you all to join me to work with our school board, our county commission, and our state legislators, in order to pass policies, ordinances, and legislation to codify our constitutional rights to educate and care for our children.

So, what's next? This year is America's 250th birthday. I plan on several events this year to celebrate that. I will also be hosting monthly coffee's throughout the county for those who can't attend meetings or want to do more to help.

I will also be hosting several Constitution classes throughout the year, and, starting in February, will be hosting a Rebuilding Liberty class. It will be a one day class, on a Saturday.

Lastly, if you are running for school board, or thinking about it, or want to help, we are having a Winning Workshop with Moms for Liberty National Political Director Erika Sheets will be coming down and teaching this class. Here is the link to register. Candidates from outside Knox County are welcome, but space is limited. Register here: Moms for Liberty Winning Workshop

I look forward to working with each and every one of you in this next year and beyond. Let's make a difference for our children and give them a country they will be proud of.
