Gene’s priorities closely align with our commitment to parental rights, academic excellence, safe and orderly schools, fiscal responsibility and preparing students for successful futures. He recognizes that parents—not government bureaucracies—are the primary decision-makers in their children’s education.
Gene brings more than 20 years of classroom experience to the School Board, along with the perspective of a husband and father of five. Since taking office in 2022, he has focused on measurable results rather than political distractions. His campaign highlights Brevard’s back-to-back "A" district ratings, a district-record 92.7% graduation rate, expanded STEM and career education, and enhanced campus security—including weapons-detection systems and armed guardians.
Gene’s continued priorities include:
- Expanding academic, STEM and career-readiness opportunities
- Maintaining safe, disciplined learning environments
- Respecting and empowering parents
- Supporting effective teachers
- Directing taxpayer dollars toward classrooms rather than unnecessary bureaucracy
