    The Director of Member Success is a key leadership role responsible for supporting and empowering chapter chairs and members across the country. This individual will ensure operational excellence in chapter activities, oversee compliance, training, and leadership development, and lead a team dedicated to member success. The role requires a strategic, people-focused leader who thrives in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Report directly to the Executive Director and serve as part of the national Leadership Team.
    • Lead and mentor the Member Success Team, providing vision, support, and accountability.
    • Oversee chapter operations, compliance, and leadership transitions.
    • Direct all chapter and leadership training programs to ensure effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
    • Serve as a liaison between chapter chairs and national support team, connecting chairs with additional resources.
    • Develop and execute annual strategies to support chapter growth and engagement.
    • Collaborate with the Ambassador Team Manager, Political Director and Director of Legislative Affairs to support chapter initiatives and advocacy.
    • Manage internal communications with members and chapter leaders through newsletters, emails, social media groups, and other channels.
    • Ensure chapter compliance with internal systems and standards, including use of the member portal.
    • Monitor and report on chapter acquisitions, transitions, and performance metrics.
    • Maintain web-based resources and educate chapter leaders on accessing and utilizing them.
    • Work to problem solve a wide variety of issues facing chapters.
    • Actively participate in a local chapter to maintain close ties with grassroots members and perspectives.

  • Experience:

    Required Experience
    • Strong background in organizational development, operations, or chapter-based leadership.
    • Experience working with the public, handling conflict resolution, and providing mentorship or team guidance.
    • Prior experience as a Chapter Chair or in a chapter leadership role is strongly preferred.
