Graphic Designer

Location: On site, located in Melbourne, FL.
We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join the team that will be responsible for developing both digital and print design projects (brochures, logos, posters, infographics, advertisements) as well as short-form video projects. The candidate needs to be highly creative with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with executive director to establish creative direction for our organization
- Advise best practices and optimizations throughout design projects
- Create and design various materials for digital and print following brand guidelines
- Work with executive director to determine voice and messaging for graphic design pieces
- Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner
- Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software
- Manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
- Proofread all designs
- Implement feedback and changes whenever possible
- Develop, edit and optimize graphics, creative materials and video content for web, social media and other digital platforms that is on-brand
- Design and layout marketing materials
- Manage 3rd party vendors for material printing
- Create infographics and presentation materials to simplify communication of complex concepts and data
Qualifications
- 5+ years Graphic Design experience
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge and understanding of digital, print and production processes
- Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web
- Experience with both print and digital media
- Experience with developing graphics, illustrations, videos, gifs, and other creative materials for web, social, and other digital platforms
- Video editing experience
- Highly conceptual, with the ability to communicate ideas effectively
- Ability to be proactive, to identify new creative ways to help support the Moms for Liberty’s mission
- Experience developing strategic visual content for social media
- Keen eye for detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at the same time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects
- Strong visual communications skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts and data through images
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues.
