  • Kids Hope USAOur Community Outreach includes coordination with the national organization Kids Hope USA.
"Through proven church-school partnerships, mentors stand alongside parents, teachers, principals and counselors to ensure kids that they are valued and loved. Through the power of relationship, kids build resilience and a brighter future."

  • Prayer Teams - Another effort by our Community Outreach works with local churches asking them to create a prayer team for one of the public schools in thier community.   Volunteers to help with this outreach are always welcome.

  • Moms for LibrariesMoms for Libraries -  The national Moms for Liberty established a foundation that, among other activities, provides books for libraries.
"Moms for Libraries works to place books that teach civics, history and American values in school libraries to benefit present and future generations. Consider donating to help purchase books that we will donate to school libraries."
Our Community Outreach is looking for volunteers to "adopt" a library and to help determine which books available from Moms for Libraries would be suitable to each library.

  • 917 SocietyConstitutions for 8th graders.  The Illinois State Board of Education requires: "All graduates must pass an examination covering American patriotism, government, the U.S. and Illinois Constitutions and American flag etiquette."  Our Community Outreach applies to the 917 Society (September 17 is Constitution Day) for enough pocket consititutions for all 8th graders in Tazewell County.  When the pocket constitutions arrive, our Commuity Outreach contacts schools to coordinate the delivery of them.  Volunteers to deliver the constitutions are always welcome.
