Brooke Weiss chartered the first chapter of Moms for Liberty in North Carolina which was the eleventh in the nation. She has been the Chair of Moms for Liberty - Mecklenburg for over three years and is also the Vice Chair of the NC Legislative Committee. She was awarded the Sybil Ludington Award for Raising Awareness at the 2023 Moms for Liberty National Summit. She has lived in Charlotte since 2017, and Brooke and her husband are parents to three daughters. Two graduated from the Charlotte Mecklenburg School system, and their youngest is still in high school. Brooke is a certified science teacher, lobbied for the passage of the NC Parents’ Bill of Rights, and has appeared on national and local television shows and spoken on radio advocating for parental rights.
