Jason Bedrick is a Research Fellow at The Heritage Foundation, focusing on education freedom, religious liberty, classical education, and restoring families’ role in education. He co-edited and co-authored Educational Freedom: Remembering Andrew Coulson and Religious Liberty and Education: A Case Study of Yeshivas vs. New York, and contributed chapters to The Not-So-Great Society and other books.
His work has been published by think tanks like the Cato Institute, EdChoice, and the American Enterprise Institute, and in outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, Fox News, and National Review. Bedrick is an adjunct scholar with the Cato Institute and serves on the board of the Education Freedom Institute. He previously worked as Director of Policy at EdChoice and served as a New Hampshire legislator.
He holds a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University and resides in Phoenix with his wife and five children.
