Dave was elected to serve the constituents of the 147th Assembly District on November 6, 2012. His district includes the southern portion of Erie County and all of Wyoming County.

Dave works hard in Albany to cut taxes and reduce the size and cost of government, so that small business leaders can invest in their companies and hire more workers to improve our economy. He also fights to protect funding for agriculture and our local family farms.

Dave has received much acclaim as an outspoken defender of life in all its forms. He is the leader of the pro-life movement in NYS and has spoken against the immorality of abortion numerous occasions, to the degree of taking the Assembly floor and pushing back against pro-abortion advocates in a series of resounding and moving speeches.

Dave and his wife, the former Theresa M. Pimpo, are members of East Aurora Wesleyan Church and reside in the Village of East Aurora with their three children Daniel, Ryan, and Ava Elizabeth

I'm not your typical candidate. I'm not a politician, I'm a Soldier. I'm a regular person that knows what it's like to work and struggle trying to get by. I don't come from a place of prominence, and I wasn't born with good fortune. Everything in my life I have busted my hands and back for (literally).

Education is the most important thing in society. Our K-12 schools are under attack by political activists. Politics has no place in the K-12 system. Instead of teaching our children how to be proficient in reading, writing, and math, they would rather teach our children about how we are in separate groups. One group is a group of oppressors, and the other group isn't smart enough or good enough to succeed. It is very important however that we teach our history, the whole history, but we don't do this by separating people into groups and teaching things from a political lens.

I am not a proponent of free college for any degree. I am, however, in support of degrees and training that will make all our lives better: people like trade workers, truck drivers, mechanics, and nurses.
