Thank you for your interest in a Public Endorsement or a Recommendation from your local Moms for Liberty chapter!
This form is for those candidates seeking local, elected office as either a school board member or Superintendent. We do not endorse in other races at this time.
Please ensure that you complete all sections of the form, as incomplete submissions may not be considered.
A Public Endorsement from a Moms for Liberty chapter has demonstrated the potential to increase turnout in a school board race by more than 10%. A Public Endorsement includes:
Candidates should be aware that they bear the ultimate responsibility for their electoral success or failure. While Moms for Liberty aims to empower candidates, success in a school board race relies on building coalitions, recruiting and managing volunteers, fundraising effectively, crafting impactful messaging, and putting in dedicated effort.
In order to help set you up for success, we recommend the Moms for Liberty Campaign Kit as an excellent resource!
The Process
Step 1-
Complete & Submit this Local Candidate Questionnaire form.
Step 2-
After submitting this form, your local Chapter will review your responses. If interested, they will reach out for a Candidate Interview, which may be conducted by phone, video, or in person. Plan on 30 minutes for the Interview.
Step 3-
Following the interview, the Chapter membership must vote for or against Public Endorsement or Recommendation. You will be notified by the Chapter leadership once this process has completed.
Moms for Liberty does not endorse in areas where a chapter has not, yet been established. We appreciate your interest in seeking an endorsement and commend you for taking on the task of running for your local school board.
Please consider signing the Parent Pledge. Although this is not an endorsement, the Parent Pledge is a simple way to communicate your dedication to parental rights.
Recommendations
Recommendations are a way for our Chapter members to support a candidate in an area hostile to parental rights. We do not list recommended candidates on our website. They are often supported by volunteer efforts from members, though this is not guaranteed. Recommended candidates are not currently eligible for support from our PAC. Please indicate if you are interested in a Public Endorsement or simply a Recommendation using the form.
