Look Up Your Ballot BEFORE Voting
Did you know you can look up your ballot? Local elections matter. But too many times voters go to the polls not knowing anything about them. Looking up your ballot allows you to see who your options are, and you can look up their website or use voter research tools.
- Go to https://vt.ncsbe.gov/RegLkup/ (You can also search for NC Voter Search)
- Type in your LEGAL First and Last Name. Select your county of residence. Click on SEARCH.
- On the list that comes up, Click on your name.
- This will open your record. You should see your name and address in the top left corner.
- Scroll down to the bar labeled YOUR SAMPLE BALLOT. You will see a sample ballot number. Click on the hyperlink to open your ballot.
There are many voter guides sites available. Two great options are Ballotpedia and iVoterGuide
