To our Chapter Leaders,

Thank you for being Joyful Warriors. We know you take arrows daily in our fight to defend parental rights and improve education in America. One of our core responsibilities at the national level is to shield you, when possible, from those arrows.

With that in mind, we have taken action this morning on an incident involving two of our Kentucky Chapters. Two Chapter Chairs were photographed with a group of Proud Boys. One leader held the Proud Boys flag, and the other displayed a hand symbol frequently associated with the Proud Boys and white power. As you know, Moms for Liberty is in no way affiliated with the Proud Boys and does not condone involvement with the organization.

We stand against hate, violence, and racism of any kind. The actions of these Chapter leaders demonstrate a lack of judgment and a misalignment with our core values. Their actions also have the potential to cause further difficulties for the rest of you who are valiantly leading your Chapters in Joyful Warrior fashion. This morning, the Executive Board voted to remove the two Chapter leaders in question from their leadership positions.

We do not give in to struggle sessions. Many of you have been through your own struggle sessions in your communities. Some of you have survived national struggle sessions. We stand strongly by your side when the woke mob accuses you of bad intentions for perfectly innocent actions. This is not a reaction to being struggled but a proactive measure to hold leaders accountable to our core values. We must hold our own leaders accountable when their actions are indefensible.

We refuse to allow the actions of a few to define the rest of you or our 130,000 members who work hard to stand for truth, build relationships, and empower others. If you see this incident pop up on social media or in the news, we suggest the following response:

“Moms for Liberty is in no way affiliated with the Proud Boys and does not condone involvement with the organization. We repudiate hate and violence. The actions of the Chapter leaders in question demonstrate a lack of judgment and misalignment with our core values. Due to this, those leaders have been removed from their positions. We will not allow the actions of others to define our Chapter or the rest of our 130,000 membership nationally. We are Joyful Warriors who stand for truth, build relationships, and empower others. Hold your heads high, knowing this is not who we are or how we behave. Our swift action demonstrates our resolve to always be Joyful Warriors that our children can be proud of.
