Good day Joyful Warriors, and boy do I mean GOOD! If you have not yet heard, we have HUGE NEWS – we have a WIN! The court just ruled in our favor on the preliminary injunction against the Biden Administration Title IX changes.
“Gender ideology does not belong in public schools and we are glad the courts made the correct call to support parental rights. We will always stand up for the rights of parents and the protection of children. All parents must have their voices heard and their right to raise their own children is part of the very fabric of a free America. The federal government has no right to claim our children as their own or to push parents out of the classroom.” The judge has put an injunction against the Title IX rewrite for those 4 states and all school districts which have children of our members that are signed up before July 15th. https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=781415834192428&set=a.189010626766288Today
This was just announced yesterday, so there are still MANY questions, so watch for updates as we get more information. We are not exactly sure how our protection will play out, but today would be a good day to become a member of Moms for Liberty!
We have 2 further situations that urgently need our attention and action! Please read, please share and please ACT on each one:
NYS Department of Ed
Recently, the New York State Education Department (NYSED) proposed amendments to the Mixed Competition Policy, which has significant implications for school sports. NYSED wants to change the rules to promote “inclusivity and equity,” especially for transgender and underrepresented groups. This involves:
- Modifying language to eliminate gender distinctions in sports.
- Removing the Review Panel and Fitness test requirements.
Why is This Concerning?
- Safety Risks: Allowing mixed competition without considering biological differences can put female athletes at risk of injury when competing against males.
- Fairness: Female athletes might lose opportunities for fair competition, potentially sidelining them and limiting their achievements.
- Progress Undermined: These changes could undermine decades of progress in gender equity in athletics.
- College Opportunities: Limiting recruitment opportunities for female athletes’ access to college.
- Recognition: Negatively impacting county and state accolades, awards, and personal records for female athletes.

Prop ONE
New York State has an Equal Rights Amendment in our state constitution. Prop One looks to expand the existing NYS Constitutional protections to include, among other things, rights to persons including MINORS regarding sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and reproductive healthcare and autonomy.
Prop One is composed in vague language, and if passed, could infringe upon parental rights and common sense protections for children.
NYS laws that determine the legal age to purchase and consume alcohol or cannabis, determine elder abuse and statutory rape could all be weakened because they “discriminate” based on age. Ultimately this would mean that any New Yorker, regardless of age, could be autonomous in all things.
It is imperative that this get stopped at the polls – the Supreme Court has NEVER heard a case to overturn a state constitution.
