Republicans suffered a tough loss in the 36th Senatorial District, where the seat fell to an Anti-School Choice candidate. Word of this shocking upset spread quickly, with many patriotic leaders from Scott Presler to Trump himself commenting on the election:

Please know, while we are currently blessed to have a Parental Rights advocate in the White House this term, America's problems are so much deeper. America has a heart problem and we need a seed change. We were meant to be a Self-Governed People - that means: THE FIX IS LOCAL. As much as many of of us are tempted to focus our attention nationally, the real change will come at the local level and in the most basic of ways. In fact, it was participation at the local level that was the driving force behind the changes we are seeing at the national level today. So,
Attend your local school board meetings (and your local council meetings)! Send us a message and let us know about your experiences or invite our Voting Members or Exec Team out to your meeting.
Be a presence. Make a Difference. Stay Connected.
For our local election, if we could have extended our word-of-mouth reach by several more every-day citizens, each taking a few minutes to tell five friends or family members about the Special Election, we could have easily turned out 500 more votes and changed the outcome and secured a more liberty-minded candidate! Get active!
Who will run next for the 36th Senatorial Seat? It opens again in 2026. Thoughts for your consideration from when I was asked what qualities we are looking for in a candidate and how they can step forward:
