Hi Joyful Warrior,
Now that most of us have survived our first couple weeks back at school we want to share some information that may see from us in the community and resources that may be helpful and empowering for our parents as the year continues.
CONSTITUTION DAY - SEPTEMBER 17, 1787
For two years in a row, we will be delivering 3,200 U.S. Constitutions to each 8th grader in Linn County. The majority of our schools are accepting the donation and we hope to delivery them on Monday, September 16th. If you would like to help with this, please contact us.
LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES
The State Legislative Committee met this week and discussed the statewide parental rights and education priorities for the 2025 Legislative Session. We will go over these priorities at our next chapter meeting.

Parental Rights Resource
Why is it that so many young people today are wondering if they are born in the wrong body? With popular endorsements coming from culture, law, and even the medical establishments, the transgender phenomenon has gone from a set of ideas to a popular trend, leaving schools scrambling to forulate a compassionate response to this controversial issue.
The Parent Resource Guide: Responding to the Transgender Issue will:
- Help you understand the consequences of the transgender trend
- Consider the implications of transgender activism and "gender inclusion" policies in schools.
- Explain what your parental rights are and give you the tools to protect your child's constitutional privacy and First Amendment rights.
- Encourage parents and school officials to work together to create a respectful school environment.
- Help you communicate with your school officials and advocate for common sense policies that will respect the dignity of all students.
- Give tips on creating community with like-minded parents.
