| My family had a wonderful Easter weekend, and I hope you did as well. This week will be the next school board meeting as well as the last public comment session regarding the 2025-26 budget. Upcoming next week is the NC House K-12 committee meeting, which will be reviewing many bills. Following bills as they move through the legislature can seem like the wild west.  There will be movement on several bills so please be on the lookout for upcoming calls to action on these. Looking further ahead, we will have our annual chapter meeting in September.  If you are interested in serving on our chapter board, please reach out to me at [email protected].
