Balance sent to Chariho School Committee as 2 Democrats, 2 Republicans elected

"In Hopkinton, Republican Dianne Tefft easily defeated Democrat challenger Gregory Avedisian, 2,516 to 2,084. Tefft will take over for Democrat Catherine Giusti, who had recently served as chairperson of the school committee but chose not to run for reelection.

The newest member of the School Committee, who sought elected office for her first time in 2024 after being a vocal proponent of financial restraint over the past term, is a Moms for Liberty candidate and known School Committee critic."
