Parental Rights Reinforced by the Supreme Court of the United States

On June 27, 2025, the Supreme Court of the United States handed down a massive win for parents in their decision under Mahmoud v. Taylor.  Parents can now opt-out from all objectionable material that is taught and/or made available to their children based on their strongly held religious beliefs or moral values.

​Moms for Liberty encourages parents to take back their child's public education by downloading the sample Request for Curriculum Opt-out letter from the Kent County Grassroots website, complete it for each child, and send it to your school.  We also encourage you to be diligent in being sure the school acknowledges in writing that they have received the request and will comply.
