Moms for Liberty Northampton County PA: Statement Regarding Library Event 10-14-2023

Regarding rumors of book banning:  

• Pornographic images and content are in our physical and virtual public school libraries.
• Books can still be checked out at public libraries and purchased from retailers. If they were banned, none of this would be possible so we reject the accusation that our organization supports banning books.
• Our focus is enabling parents to see what content is in their children’s school library and decide for themselves what is and what is not age appropriate.

 

Here are examples of books identified in our local libraries that we believe NO parent would want their child to have access to.
