We have secured a legal firm to restore the First Amendment and parental rights in Seattle Public Schools.  See Resources below to open our full  position statement.  We are seeking residents of the Seattle Public School District who hold values and religious beliefs that are being violated by the Seattle Public Schools (SPS). If you have been refused an opt out request, believe it is futile to try or have chosen to remove your children from SPS because of the objectionable curriculum, please contact us at [email protected]. We want to hear your story and if desired, will connect you with a legal firm seeking pro bono plaintiffs.

See the Center Square article on Cheney School District English teacher's efforts to obscure notification so parents wouldn't opt their children out of an LGBTQ lesson. Our Spokane M4L Chapter Chair, Bo Begalman, was quoted. In Seattle Public Schools, they no longer even allow opt outs, in violation of Mahmoud v Taylor.  If you are a parent in SPS that believe parents have a right to opt their children out of objectionable content, please contact us regarding our lawsuit.

For those that don't pay attention to education because they don't have children in the public school system: One day before an election that might see an avowed socialist elected as mayor of NYC, we see this poll and understand why it is happening: Socialism beats capitalism among U.S. college students, in a new Axios-Generation Lab poll: 67% of survey respondents say they hold a positive or neutral association with the word "socialism," compared with 40% with the word "capitalism."

Read this excellent article on the "marred intellectual landscape" in our schools. "Scholastic excellence cannot be legislated through unwieldy and demeaning diversity, equity, and inclusion (D.E.I.) initiatives nor through an appallingly irresponsible reliance upon technology. Students should be reading and writing classical accounts of the heroic and dramatic from books so they in turn become the moral exemplars of the literature true to our American heritage. What we see is a toxic deconstruction of moral excellence vis-à-vis D.E.I."

If you are looking for positive news, read this great article on classical education.  When students encounter the Bible, Aristotle, Augustine, Aquinas, and the American Founders, they come to see themselves not as isolated individuals but as heirs to a great tradition. Great books like these don’t glorify “finding yourself,” but they reveal the beauty of giving yourself. Confronted with the weight of this civilizational inheritance, students come to respect their elders and desire to pass down that inheritance to a new generation.

A FOIA request exposed that in March 2025, Seattle Public Schools requested "gender affirming" supplies like chest binders and tucking underwear from Seattle Children's Hospital for the district's "Community Health" lockers

Cofounder and CEO, Tina Descovich, along with others, sent a letter to the White House decrying SPLC's defamatory and dangerous "hate map." This was a blueprint for intimidation.   From Tina: 

Just days before our Joyful Warrior National Summit in Philadelphia, the SPLC dropped a hit piece labeling Moms for Liberty “extremist” and warning that our gathering would “inject extremism into the mainstream.”

What happened next? Chaos—fueled by their reckless smear:
•1,000+ protestors descended on our event.
•Windows smashed at the museum hosting us.
•“Washington Crossing the Delaware” vandalized.
•Global hackers took down our website—costing us tens of thousands to restore.
