BIG NEWS: We have secured a legal firm to restore the First Amendment and parental rights in Seattle Public Schools. We are seeking residents of the Seattle Public School District who hold values and religious beliefs that are being violated by the Seattle Public Schools (SPS). If you have been refused an opt out request, believe it is futile to try or have chosen to remove your children from SPS because of the objectionable curriculum, please contact us at [email protected]

We are proud to announce the launch of our new Moms for Liberty Washington website page. Visit it here.

Check out the Moms for Liberty Washington 2025 Legislative Record on Parental Rights.

Each month, links from the previous month are removed, in the interest of space. If you would like the links, please contact me and I can send them to you in email form.

This is huge! Moms for Liberty has joined with multiple entities to challenge WA State's law SB5599 - dubbed by many "the kidnapping bill." The amicus brief asks SCOTUS: “Whether parents have standing to challenge a law or policy that deliberately displaces their decision-making role as to ‘gender transitions’ of their children, and in so doing creates present and likely future impediments to their ability to parent their children as they deem best for them.”

Here is more on the settlement based on the Mahmoud victory. See this brief video on the remedies the district must now offer.  Seattle parents - we need you!  What happens in Seattle doesn't stay in Seattle.

Seattle residents - please see this victory in Maryland where parents received a $1.5 million settlement for the violation of their opt out rights.  Join our lawsuit and protect your children.
73% of Americans support parents being able to opt out of curriculum.

Special needs student calls mom to be picked up, on busy highway, after wandering miles away from "student-led ICE protest.  No one noticed he was gone. Two Enumclaw students arrested after assaulting journalist during "student-led" ICE protest.  Minor hit by car during "student-led" ICE protest.

A study in Wisconsin concludes that ending “union protections” for teachers results in direct academic and nonacademic benefits for students.  This failed experiment in creating Marxist teacher unions that don't serve the needs of students must end.

School districts should not allow teachers to inflame student passions with lies and encourage teens with underdeveloped brains, to leave school to protest the enforcement of our nation's laws.  They must be held accountable - this is child abuse.  See this Brandi Kruse interview of the Chief of Police in Enumclaw.

Happy Valentine's Day.
See this article from For Kids and County on the ballooning costs of education to taxpayers while performance deteriorates.  See my white paper under Resources and Issues: It's Not a Funding Problem.

Moms for Liberty is helping to lead the charge to advocate for responsible use of AI in schools. Check out their resources here, including downloadable materials to take to your school boards.  As always, scroll down and check out what is available under Resources and Issues. When technology outpaces guard rails, it leads to anxiety, depression and addiction.

Allowing students to participate in the celebration of the hard work that led to the Seahawks Super Bowl victory is apparently not nearly as important as protesting the efforts of law enforcement taking violent felons and human traffickers off the street.

In Pierce County, a 190 lb male was wrestling on a girl's wrestling team.  See this disturbing article for details about the alleged sexual assault that occurred. The school failed to report the assault, as required by law, for two months, until Brandi Kruise notified them she was investigating.

Visit our legislative page to see which bills we recommend or oppose. Two very concerning bills are SB5935 and HB1634 which deal with mental health. Certainly, we all see that the mental health of our children is of deep concern. However, a behemoth government program, designed to treat the very damage our schools and government partner in inflicting upon our children, is not the answer. Over the next few weeks, I will be linking to information and ideas which will truly address the root causes of the despair and depression of our youth. Today, please view this video from Kevin Roberts of Heritage Foundation discussing TikTok. Social media is a significant contributor to anxiety in our youth, in addition to the military significance of our CCP adversary, collecting our children's data.

It has been a busy few days!

 - Moms for Liberty traveled to Olympia on Tuesday to show their support of LGW and the Initiatives.  The speakers were inspired!  Several of our King County board were asked to speak during a listening session by Republican lawmakers since Democrats won't allow hearings.

- On Thursday, Moms for Liberty members across the state traveled to Olympia to meet with legislators.  It was a long but productive day. Check out our X account @M4L_WA, for pictures.

In most U.S. public school districts, staffing continues to increase while student enrollment remains stagnant or declines. Do schools have a funding problem or a priority problem?
