The Say No to Indoctination Act, sponsored by Rep. Burgess Owens has advanced out of the House Education and Workforce Committee.  It codifies President Trump's Executive Order that no school receiving federal funds under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act may use those funds to teach or promote radical gender ideology.  Contact your U.S. Representative and tell him to vote YES on HR 2617.

Dan Newhouses's office:  "So far, we have sent Kennewick, Moses Lake, and Warden complaints directly to the White House to encourage them to begin an investigation whether it is from Dept. of Ed, the Attorney General’s office, or assistance from the White House office of general counsel."  I have it on good authority that Representative Dan Newhouse met with President Trump and Pam Bondi last week.

After 45 years and more than $3 trillion spent, President Donald Trump today signed an Executive Order to begin to dismantle the D of Ed.  This means taxpayer $ can be spent where it counts, not to keep a bloated bureaucracy afloat!

Did you know the that pursuant to ESSB 5950 (125) (37), the Domestic Extremism and Mass Violence Task Force meets to provide recommendations to the legislature to establish a comprehensive public health and community-based framework to combat extremism and mass violence.  They have an interesting list of members.  Their next meeting is May 9.  Put it on your calendar.

• Last night, at 2:15 am, the House passed ESHB 1296, gutting the parents' rights initiative supported by over 450,000 citizens and signed into law overwhelmingly by the legislature. Their duplicity will not be forgotten at election time!
