Welcome to the Moms for Liberty Wood County! We will be at the Central Wisconsin State Fair from Tuesday, August 22 thru Sunday, August 27th in Expo Building one.
We are thrilled to have the opportunity to share with you some exciting ways to promote parental rights in schools, introduce our scholarship, and inspire you to make a lasting impact in your community by running for school board. As parents, we play a crucial role in shaping our children's education, and together, we can create positive change for the betterment of our schools and our children's futures.
Moms for Liberty Wayne County NY is looking for volunteers to knit, crochet or purchase mittens, gloves, hats and scarves for the next school year 2023-2024. Many times kids do not have these items to help keep them warm in the colder temperatures.
We are asking for volunteers to either make or buy these items to be donated to kids and families living in Wayne County NY.
Email [email protected] for more info, or contact us through our PO Box 225, Marion NY 14505.
Board of Education meetings are typically held on the third Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Learning Center* at the administration building and are open to the public. Portions of meetings may sometimes be closed for private executive sessions, which is indicated on the meeting agenda. Public comments are taken at the beginning of each regular meeting. In addition, most meetings are live-streamed on the district's YouTube channel.
Board of Education members represent separate geographical areas within Lewis-Palmer School District. These areas should not be confused with attendance boundaries; rather, they are intended to divide the district into areas of equal population. Click here for the map of the Board of Education Districts.
The Board serves as a representative of the community in providing direction for district programs and ensuring that the school system is efficiently and effectively operated. In fulfilling this responsibility, the board concerns itself primarily with adopting policy, planning school services, and evaluating the quality and effectiveness of district services. More information is available from the Colorado Association of School Boards.
You may now submit public comments digitally for Board of Education review and to be entered into the public record. Should you wish to do so, please submit your comment by clicking here, and it will be entered into the record at the next meeting.
