Moms for Liberty Guilford County has received recognition for its work promoting school choice options.

It was named an “all star” participant in the upcoming annual National School Choice Week, Jan. 25-31, by the National School Choice Awareness Foundation.

More than 26,400 schools and other organizations across the country take part in National School Choice Week each January, but fewer than 5% earn the “all star” distinction, according to a press release. All-star participants host family-centered events and activities that help parents understand their school-choice options.

On Saturday, Jan. 31, Moms for Liberty Guilford County will host a School Choice Education Expo 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Greensboro, featuring local charter, private and homeschool exhibitors, as well as breakout information sessions. Admission is free.
