The conservative parental rights group Moms for Liberty continued its fourth annual Joyful Warriors Summit in Orlando over the weekend, featuring a slate of top Republican speakers and a special video message from President Donald Trump.

The summit, which ran from Thursday 16 through Sunday at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center, is dedicated to “fighting for the survival of America by unifying, educating and empowering parents”.

Trump addressed the group via video, crediting the organization for its role in his 2024 election victory and highlighting key actions his administration has taken since then.

Trump stated that on Day One of his second presidential term, he signed an executive order removing “radical gender ideology and critical race theory” from the federal government.

He pointed to how his administration banned the “chemical and surgical mutilation of children” and ended “diversity, equity, and inclusion programs” across the federal government and private sector.

“And we got men out of women’s sports, of course, and we made it the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders: male and female. It sounds pretty simple, but believe it or not, there are lunatics that feel differently,” Trump said.

Trump said his administration is restoring patriotic education and standing up for religious freedom in schools. He also cited recently signing the “largest tax cuts in American history,” permanently increasing the child tax credit, passing a dramatic expansion of school choice, and creating “Trump accounts for all newborn babies”.

“Together we are restoring common sense to our society. We’re ensuring that our children grow up in the nation that we know and love,” Trump said, concluding by thanking the group and calling the Moms for Liberty “so wonderful.”

In addition to Trump’s message, the multi-day event featured speeches and appearances from several of Florida’s most influential Republican figures.
