VIDEO: Alleged Sexual Abuse Coverup at Parma Schools

Cuyahoga County Chair, Hilary Jackson, is speaking out - exposing what appears to be a disturbing cover-up at Parma Schools involving alleged sexual harassment by a teacher and the smearing of concerned parents who demanded answers. 

According to parents and students, the teacher in question has been on paid administrative leave since March 2025, despite continued concerns raised by multiple students alleging inappropriate conduct. Families report that after a student courageously came forward to report alleged misconduct, the district responded by suspending the student, an action many in the community perceived as retaliatory and intimidating. Following significant public outrage—and multiple additional students coming forward with similar reports—the district reversed the suspension. Parents are further raising alarms over the district’s failure to report these accusations to the Ohio State Board of Education or to Child Protective Services, despite mandatory-reporting requirements under Ohio law. Instead, the district hired a third-party investigator retained by the district to assess allegations involving the district itself.

Unsurprisingly to many community members, the investigation concluded that there was no evidence of sexual harassment under the district’s vague and insufficient harassment policy, yet did confirm evidence of inappropriate conduct—conduct which the district now claims does not violate any existing board policy.

“Moms for Liberty – Cuyahoga County stands firmly with the students and families who have come forward,” the chapter said in a statement. “Mandatory reporting exists to protect children, not institutions. When a child reports inappropriate conduct, the first response should be safety—not suspension. Parma City Schools must answer for these failures and immediately review their policies, reporting procedures, and administrative decision-making.”
