America 250 Event

Jan Greenhawk ( Talbot, Md) and Nicole ( Wicomico County) visited Maple Elementary School on Monday, December 15, 2025 to participate in the America 250 school event. Maple was the ONLY school in Maryland chosen for this event. Education Secretary Linda McMahon, Commission member Kelly Ann Conway, Congressman Andy Harris, Dorchester Superintendent Dr. Jymil Thompson, and many local school board and county commissioners from Dorchester participated. The kids got to answer questions about American History and even played a game of FAMILY FEUD between 4th and 5th graders about basic facts about America.
