Hello, Joyful Warriors! This Mother's Day, take a moment to think about a virtue or strength your Mother or Grandmother instilled in you. Perhaps it is courage, tenacity, kindness, compassion, or grit. My paternal grandmother valued family gatherings, and she was a prayer warrior. She once told me that she prayed without ceasing for my sister and me when our parents divorced. I believe her prayers were instrumental in my spiritual salvation and discipleship in a Bible believing church in Houston, TX. I want to be a prayer warrior like my Grandmother, praying over my children and grandchildren often, seeing them develop a faith in Christ, and growing in virtue. Early voting began earlier this week, and runs through Tuesday, April 29. Election Day is May 3. Moms for Liberty Harris County is proud to endorse FIVE candidates this Spring! We encourage everyone to get out and vote for these and other candidates who will protect parental rights! Our April chapter meeting is next Wednesday, April 30 at 6pm. Superintendent Jackson gave a tearful presentation of his remorse over the recent directive from the U.S. Department of Education related to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Chatham County Schools "will remain legally compliant—and morally courageous" regarding this directive. As he stated on Monday night, "Chatham County Schools proudly serves a diverse and vibrant community. We do not just tolerate that diversity, we celebrate it."
